Call for Papers:
Special Joint Initiative - Current Trends in European Transnational Litigation
Guest Editor: Prof. Michele Angelo Lupoi (University of Bologna)
Access to Justice in Eastern Europe (AJEE) is proud to announce a new publication track. In collaboration with Prof. Michele Angelo Lupoi, we invite PhD students and early-career researchers to submit original papers on European civil procedure and transnational dispute resolution. We specifically welcome manuscripts addressing cross-border litigation, the digitalization of justice, Brussels and Rome Regulations, and the impact of European standards on national systems.
Why Submit? To support the academic growth of early-career researchers, high-quality papers selected by the Guest Editor will receive a full APC waiver, allowing for gold Open Access publication without financial burden. Accepted manuscripts will benefit from Continuous Publication, appearing "Online First" immediately after peer review to ensure rapid visibility. As a Scopus (Q2) and Web of Science (Q2) indexed journal, AJEE offers global reach and high academic impact for your work.
Submission Guidelines
This call is open to early-career researchers and PhD candidates acting as the sole author of the manuscript. While the final collected issue will launch in November 2026, we review and publish submissions on a rolling basis.
Please submit your manuscript via the AJEE website or Scholastica, ensuring it follows the official AJEE template. Clearly indicate in your cover letter and submission form that your paper is intended for the "Current Trends in European Transnational Litigation" special section.
