We aim to lessen the reliance on the journal impact factor as a promotional tool.
Instead, we present a diverse range of journal-based metrics, including the 5-year impact factor, EigenFactor, SCImago, h-index, and editorial and publication times, to offer a more comprehensive assessment of journal performance.
