Our Statement
Access to Justice in Eastern Europe is the Ukrainian legal journal. Since 2018, we have provided a forum for discussion and the exchange of opinions on topical issues of the judiciary, proceedings, litigation, and arbitration development. Our Editorial Board Members represent a lot of European states – Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Croatia, Italy, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Spain, Greece and Luxemburg.
AJEE is the first Ukrainian legal journal indexed in both international databases – Scopus Elsevier and Web of Science Core Collection. AJEE is also listed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), ERIH Plus, UlrichWeb, and HeinOnline.
In the area of law, there is no room for compromise when we are talking about human rights and freedoms. As a journal, we have always strongly condemned sharing fake practices and ideas, especially those that harm the rights of people. We firmly represent the very idea of law and justice, equality and freedom.
No one can break our faith in common human values, and we will stand for these values strongly!
Since the journal’s foundation, we have published more than 100 articles and notes, among which are 71 articles from Ukraine, 11 from Poland, 6 from Lithuania, 4 from the Netherlands, 3 from Italy, 2 from Germany, 2 from Slovakia, 1 from Croatia and 1 from Austria.
We would like to encourage the scholarly world to unify against the completely unjust attack on Ukraine and our world-wide values and to suspend any participation in international projects, bases, editions etc., for those who do not share these values and try to destroy the freedom and justice we all worked so hard to create during decades after the last world war.
Let’s be true and stand for that we believe!
