As an American jurist, lawyer, and judicial philosopher Learned Hand once said,
‘The language of law must not be foreign to the ears of those who are to obey it’.
That is why, apart from dealing with purely legal matters, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of the language of Law, hoping to make it a common language for people of different countries.
We welcome submissions on Legal English studies, problems of Legal English translation and related issues.
